PSA ready with lifetime filter system

On June 25, PSA/Peugeot-Citroen is expected to unveil a new particulate filter system that will last the lifetime of a car.

PSA is holding a press conference on that date to mark the production of its 500,000th particulate filter system.

Sources told Automotive News Europe that PSA is keen to present its new filter before September's Frankfurt auto show, where German carmakers are expected to show engines meeting anti-pollution norms without the help of particulate filters.

PSA pioneered the use of particulate filters to reduce pollution by diesel engines, a field where it long had a clear lead. But the first-generation filter had to be changed after some 80,000km and the second one after some 150,000km.

Plein de cérine à 100000 ou 1200000 km, et nettoyage ou remplacement du filtre.

qu'en est il avec ce nouveau fap ,il filtre mieux les toutes petites particules (celles dangeureuse pour l'homme) ou ca reste toujours un super filtre pour proteger l'environnement et les batiments (ce qui est deja tres bien remarque)??
