Et les pare-carter ont souvent la facheuse tendance à se plier très fort lors d'une chute même à basse vitesse, défaut que les roulettes ne présentent pas.

Le moteur est volumineux, et le pare carter devrait très peu dépasser, pas évident (sinon ça risquerait de frotter en courbe).
Là avec les roulettes elles dépassent très peu mais juste assez pour que ce ne soit pas le moteur qui touche.
D'ailleurs les protections Honda (à plus de 3 fois le prix car celles-ci 105€ et les Honda 380€ je crois) sont aussi des roulettes.

Ces protections peuvent être utile pour des chutes à vraiment basse vitesse, au dessus on ne sait pas ce qui se passe de toute manière. C'est juste pour ne pas éclater les carters moteur si on laisse tomber la moto, par exemple.

Et sinon pour la théorie du concessionnaire, il sait bien où est son intérêt <!--emo& Wink

Vu comment elles sont placées je vois pas comment elles pourraient plus rentrer dans un cylindre qu'un pare-carter.
Elles sont situées en avant du moteur, à peu près là où on ancrerait un pare-carter.
